Sheba Beans
(called Red-Red in Ghana.  Made with Red Beans & Sheba Stew.  Blackeye Peas can be substituted.)

  Cooking Time

Takes about 10 minutes in pressure cooker and about 2.5hrs in regular pot.


You need:

Directions

Medium pot or Pressure Cooker (Recommended)

1 pound of Nigerian Red Beans

9 ounces of onions

4oz Sheba Spice or 32 ounces of Sheba Stew

5 cups of water

2 teaspoons of salt

2 tablespoons of Natural Palm Oil

Bring water to a boil.

Add Sheba Stew

Add beans

Add Onions, Palm oil and salt

Simmer until beans soften to desired texture.
