Kunmi Oluleye is the Executive Producer of the Flavors of Africa Cooking DVD - Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa and author of three books:

 

(1) Life with Wal-Mart: A Vendor's Story - details of the two and a half journey of being an ethic food minority supplier to Wal-Mart Supercenters.

Etc.  A story of how an African woman crossed various barriers: cultural, race, gender, faith and issues of being a small business.

Kunmi’s undergraduate (Computer Science & Management) and graduate degrees (MBA) are from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts.  She has 15 years of corporate and private event planning experience.  Kunmi has extensive work experience in banking, technology and construction. 

 

Kunmi is frequently invited to trade missions and is a paid speaker & consultant.  Most recent participation was March 2008 USDA Trade Mission to Ghana.  In 2007, the trade missions to Kenya and AGOA Workshop in Cameroun, she consulted with numerous companies, evaluated their products and packaging and made recommendations on how to enter the U.S. Market.  Speaker and consultation fees below.

Sheba Foods has a passion to economically empower African businesses in Africa.  This is why we market other companies products as well as our brand.  Sheba Foods is the First and Only Manufacturer of Fresh Frozen Ready-to-eat African cuisine.  Our products are all natural and have no preservatives.  In 2003, our products debuted in major supermarket such as Ingles.  In 2004, we debuted in Wal-Mart Supercenters and other venues.    Sheba Foods markets not only their brand, but has also successfully assisted other companies in taking their products into U.S. Markets.

Speaker Compensation

The speaker fee depends on audience and topic to be presented.  Airfare, hotel, all meals and other transportation expenses are expected to be covered.

Consultation Services

Do you need guidance in taking your product into the U.S. market?  We offer consultation services and can become your distributor.  Hourly rate range from $150 - $250 per hour.  If travel to client is required, then airfare, hotel, all meals and other transportation expenses are expected to be covered in addition to the hourly rate.
